Oak woodwork panel depicting a boar’s head with a dog’s head oil painting work attributed to Frans Snyders (1579-1657) student of Pieter Bruegel the younger and Hendrick van Balen, spécialized in still life one of the first animal apinters he is credited with initiating a wide variety of new still life and animal subjects in Antwerp. He is a regular collaborator of great Antwerp painters such as Peter Paul Rubens, Antoine van Dyck and Jacob Jordaens.
