A pair of stained-glass windows painted in grisaille and enamels, one depicting parrots, including cockatoos, perched on a palm tree and sweet peas, and the other a pair of exotic birds also perched. The whole is framed by red and blue glass, traditionally set in lead. The enamels are remarkably fresh.

It is signed lower right: H. Curcier, 19 rue Vital-Carles.

François Henri Curcier (1868-1919) was a master glassmaker from Bordeaux.

The black wood frames are in perfect condition. They have been completely reassembled in lead using traditional methods.
