La maison Fassi de Nice is founded from 1858-1862 (selon les sources), with Joseph Fassi père, as maître-verrier (né à Chieri dans le Piémont en 1843, mort en 1920). It arrived in Nice in 1860 and was formed by the famous Milanese painter Bertini. The workshop is 3 ruelle des Prés à Nice.
In 1897 the company was born in the name of Joseph Fassi and his son Barthélemy Léopold Raphaël, born in 1872, in his first marriage.
